MAME stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. When used in conjunction with images of the original arcade game's ROM and disk data, MAME trys to reproduce that game as faithfully as possible on a more modern computer to give to you a more flexiabe console. MAME can emulate thousands of different classic arcade video games from 1970's to the recent days.
